Facetite is an innovative, minimally invasive device made by InMode that rejuvenates the face and neck with radiofrequency (RF) energy — tightening skin and melting fat without excisional surgery. It provides dramatic improvement in skin laxity that was previously attainable only through a procedure like a facelift, but without the long incisions, the scar, or the swelling and downtime of open surgery.
The device has two connected parts: a thin tube (cannula) that passes through the fat just beneath the skin, and an external handpiece that glides over the skin's surface. RF energy travels between them, heating fat cells just enough to break them down permanently — without reaching temperatures that damage surrounding structures — while simultaneously shrinking existing collagen for an immediate tightening effect and stimulating new collagen over the following months. What to Expect
The Facetite Procedure
Dr. Zelken begins by reviewing your anesthesia options. Some patients need only a local anesthetic; others add an oral sedative to relax — either way, you stay awake throughout. The incision is placed where it's hidden, and because the cannula is so thin, scarring is virtually nonexistent. Dr. Zelken then moves the cannula gently and methodically through the treatment area, delivering controlled radiofrequency energy beneath and across the skin.
