First Week
Swelling and bruising peak in the first few days. Discomfort is usually mild and well-controlled with medication. Rest and limited arm movement are encouraged.

If biological materials are used, drainage tubes may stay in for two to three weeks. Many patients return to light activity and desk work in this window.
